Oct. 17, 2010--DIGGING DITCHES

We begin a series of messages on the life and ministry of Elisha as we look at this incident in II Kings 3, where he advises the three kings to dig ditches in the valley. The message seeks the wisdom of the Holy Spirit to discern where we are called to do the same today.
Be blessed by the message and the rest of the service too!

July 05, 2009--THE "DOUBLE-DOUBLE"--GOT IT?

On this Sunday which marks the beginning of the third year of Pastor Jeeva's ministry at the Morgan's Point-Forks Road East Pastoral Charge, we take another look at II Kings 2:1-18, the passage that was the focus of his very first sermon.

This message focuses on what Elisha did with the mantle once Elijah had been taken up into heaven...and the message it conveys to us...It's not enough to Know that we've got it, but also to Show that we've got it!

July 6, 2008--DOUBLE DOUBLE REVISITED

On this first anniversary of serving at Morgan's Point-Forks Road East United Churches, we re-visit the story of Elisha receiving a double portion of Elijah's spirit from II Kings 2:1-15--which was the theme of the service a year ago.
This message focuses on what made Elisha a suitable candidate for receiving the double portion and the condition he met in order to receive it.
