We return to the series on the Lord's Prayer with the first of three petitions that focus on OUR needs..."GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD." Since "daily bread" would have conjured up visions of mannah for the Jewish audience of Jesus' day, our Scripture reading for this Sunday is the entire chapter of Exodus 16.
