The message begins by showing how the Lord wants his relationship with us to be as intimate as marriage (as in Hosea 2:13-14, Ephesians 5:23-27, Revelation 21:1-2, 9)and identifies roadblocks that prevent us from being part of this divine romance, as well as intimacy within our marriages by contrasting the orphan spirit with the spirit of adoption described in Romans 8:14-17.
