The reading from Acts 8:26-40, a detailed narrative of the encounter between Philip the Evangelist and the Ethiopian Finance Minister is the text for today's message. We focus on tow themes:
#1. The Father's all-out effort to ensure that every person meets Jesus Christ as the Suffering Servant who laid down his life for us on the cross...and
#2. Jesus' desire that we spread this good news to every person he puts in our path.

Dec. 23, 2007--WANTED: TELLERS

The Christmas story in Luke 2 ends with the shepherds spreading the news that they had seen the Saviour who is Christ the Lord and telling everyone all that they had been told.

In Romans 10:13-17, the apostle Paul points out that faith comes from hearing and for people to hear there must be tellers!
